Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level API service architectures and large-scale distributed systems. Own critical services end-to-end, including availability, latency, capacity planning, and system tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement domain-based microservice architectures focused on security, resiliency, and scale.
• Build infrastructure for API service integration and deployment across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Automate manual processes and optimize service integration to improve scalability and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with API developers to build and deploy new features at scale.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with modern technologies including Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in building large-scale systems using Java, Python, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in REST API design and development.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub Enterprise.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, NLB/ELB, and EKS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Service Mesh Architecture for microservices.
• Proficiency using modern IDEs like IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code.
