Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval from relational databases.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform regular code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance at both the application and database levels.
• Apply a testing mindset to prevent bugs by covering edge cases and failure scenarios.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive expertise in Backend Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Proven experience building microservices and APIs.
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and relational database design.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience working within Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
