Description

Design and develop cloud-hosted Java Microservices and Kafka streams while mentoring the development team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using cloud-hosted Java Microservices and Kafka Streams.
• Mentor and guide developers on the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Implement Java services, cloud solutions, data pipelines, and Kafka streaming.
• Define strategic direction for transforming application components using modern technologies like Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Triage and fix production issues to maintain solution stability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or senior engineering roles.
• 3-5+ years supporting enterprise programs.
• Strong experience with Java Microservices and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience translating architecture into detailed designs.
• Strong integration pattern experience including API, batch, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with document composition or print platforms.
• Vendor coordination and solution validation experience.
