Description

You will design, code, and deliver scalable server-side applications for the Strategic Client Reporting team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java/J2EE applications using the Spring framework.
• Write complex SQL, manage relational databases, and optimize query performance.
• Implement microservices architecture and integrate messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for automated builds and deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and review code to ensure adherence to security and performance standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience building enterprise server-side applications with Java/J2EE.
• Deep understanding of JVM internals, including memory management, garbage collection, and performance tuning.
• Extensive experience with the Spring framework and multithreading/concurrency.
• Strong SQL skills with expertise in joins, subqueries, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and Git version control.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting for log analysis and process monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and SAML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
