Description

You will lead the architecture and development of backend systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices adhering to API-first principles.
• Implement and maintain event-driven architectures using messaging systems.
• Own the development and maintenance of backend platforms.
• Guide technical implementation and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java backend development using Java and SQL.
• 5-7 years developing RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership or technical lead capacity.
• Proficiency with API design-first tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Experience with API management platforms, including Azure API Management or Apigee.
• Knowledge of container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building event-driven architectures with Kafka or similar tools.
• Platform knowledge across Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and API deployment pipelines.
