Description

You will develop automated applications for tax modernization efforts and support ongoing maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain business requirements to build automated applications that meet priority needs.
• Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirements.
• Create unit test plans and conduct debugging of code changes in development environments.
• Coordinate the migration of code changes from development to user test environments.
• Mentor staff on J2EE, Spring, JSON, JavaScript, and JDBC technologies.
• Provide technical support for defect resolution and issue management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 5+ years of experience building and testing Java EE applications using Eclipse, Netbeans, or IntelliJ.
• 5+ years of experience with J2EE frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
• 5+ years of experience with application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere, or Weblogic.
• 5+ years of experience writing SQL statements for relational databases.
• 5+ years of experience in system analysis and design of multi-tiered transactional systems.
• 3 years of experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
• Proficiency with Java, DB2, XML, XQuery, JSON, and JavaScript.
