Description

You will enhance the Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) portal by improving application maintainability, efficiency, and accessibility. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java application components supporting provider enrollment and screening processes.
• Implement and integrate Drools business rules to manage dynamic provider risk levels and workflows.
• Resolve bugs and implement fixes to ensure system stability.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and existing MMIS systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Java and the Eclipse IDE.
• Experience using Maven for build automation and dependency management.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience with business rule engines, specifically Drools.
• Ability to work on complex web-based portals and back-end validation services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with legacy MMIS systems.
