Description

You will design and program backend modules for the Middle Office Core Platform, driving product modernization within an agile delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement small modules, large components, and specific feature sets.
• Participate in technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and design reviews.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, automation, and industry best practices.
• Design interfaces and manage information exchange between system modules.
• Assess and optimize application performance through design and coding practices.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and software design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with databases: Oracle MySQL, Sybase, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Expertise in core data structures and algorithms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceMesh, Containers, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-based software using AWS or Azure native services.
