Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications, owning the full lifecycle from design to deployment. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP web services with JSON data interchange.
• Manage application deployment and build processes using Maven and Tomcat.
• Implement object-oriented design patterns and ensure code quality through continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate on database schema design and queries using Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and J2EE technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
• Experience developing API/Web Services using REST, SOAP, and JSON protocols.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, Maven, and source control tools like Git.
• Proficiency in at least one relational database (Oracle, DB2, or Sybase).
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web application vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking or brokerage industry.
• Knowledge of mobile application development or exposing web services to mobile devices.
