Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of enterprise applications using Java and modern development practices.
• Collaborate with software development teams to improve application architecture and align solutions with business and technical goals.
• Design, develop, construct, and unit test application components and modules.
• Provide technical guidance, programming standards, and best practices to development teams.
• Design and develop applications using Java, SOA, microservices, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, and XML.
• Develop and support applications using Node.js, JavaScript, Angular, and React.
• Drive DevOps practices including continuous integration, automated testing, deployment, and build optimization.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards, security, quality, and architectural best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and development processes.
• Work closely with architects, senior developers, managers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior developers on design patterns, development standards, and best practices.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to continuous improvements in code quality and delivery.
• Support containerized applications using Docker and cloud environments such as AWS.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide clear development and architectural guidelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Developer or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Extensive experience with SOA, microservices, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience developing modern web and mobile applications.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and GitHub pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and secure development practices.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
