Description

You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications using J2EE and Angular in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using the J2EE framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Implement cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS.
• Build and support middleware technologies including SpringBoot, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss.
• Collaborate with project teams to define application design, build processes, and deployment strategies.
• Work independently to meet project requirements and deployment goals in target environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in solution design and development with J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• 1-2 years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud-based solutions.
• Proficiency in Microservices using J2EE and Web Services (Java, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML).
• Strong understanding of OOA, OOD, and database integration concepts.
• Experience with DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Spinnaker, Maven/Gradle, and Groovy DSL.
• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity.
• Experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Knowledge of API Management (Apigee) and Service Mesh (Istio).
• Scripting experience using Unix and Python.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
