Description

Build and maintain scalable microservices and customer applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Build microservice applications using best practices for high-quality, fault-tolerant code.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to define API schemas and with front-end developers to integrate UI components.
• Translate business requirements into high and low-level designs while performing peer code reviews.
• Write automated unit tests, perform API validations, and debug technical issues.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle, including feature launches, releases, and deployment windows.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices development.
• Experience with concurrency frameworks such as Mono or Flux.
• Strong relational database experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or Postgres.
• Proficiency in Data Structures, Design Patterns, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with automated testing tools like JUnit.
• Hands-on use of Jira, GitLab, Swagger, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Understanding of logging frameworks and monitoring tools like Kibana, ELK, or Dynatrace.
• Experience with Docker, Git, SonarQube, and CI/CD deployment tools.
• Knowledge of Apigee and API authentication using OAuth.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other queuing/streaming engines.
• Experience with ORM frameworks like Entity, Hibernate, or Dapper.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jquery.
