Description

You will provide design leadership for complex Java development projects, including application migrations and new feature additions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of custom Java applications from software requirements specifications.
• Define coding standards and best practices in collaboration with architects and technical leads.
• Review applications in progress to ensure compliance with design parameters and corporate standards.
• Write technical documentation covering data flow, architecture, and technical specifications.
• Mentor less experienced developers on technical issues and implementation details.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and C#.
• Extensive experience with Java frameworks including Struts, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in distributed Java, SOA, middleware, and integration technologies using JSP, JSTL, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JAXB, Maven, log4j, and JUnit.
• Strong experience with Microservices (REST API), Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Zuul, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Advanced proficiency in AngularJS (version 2 or better) and creating reusable, testable components.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks including jQuery and Dojo.
• Deep understanding of Web Services including WSDL, SOAP, XML, and RESTful architectures.
• Expertise in XML technologies such as XSD, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT.
• Proficiency with CI/CD toolchains and single sign-on integration.
• Full SDLC experience across multi-platform environments including mainframe, client-server, and web.
