Description

Modernize legacy monolith applications by containerizing components and deploying them via Kubernetes and Helm charts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes to modernize legacy applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Develop fault-tolerant RESTful web services using microtransactions and circuit breakers.
• Enhance AWS-based systems to auto-scale using CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Manage production deployments, including branch cuts, stage deployments, and coordinated releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS, EKS).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience building RESTful Web Services using JAX-RS or Jersey.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and CVS.
• Knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with media transcoding tools like FFmpeg or ImageMagick.
• Familiarity with Angular.
