Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and REST APIs, owning features from requirement analysis through production deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Java 10+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term performance fixes.
• Lead system design discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and Gradle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java 10+ and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Run.
• Experience in event-driven systems or messaging (Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ).
