Description

You will design, implement, and support highly scalable backend services and distributed systems using Java in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Build real-time streaming applications using Kafka.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage and support data persistence using MongoDB.
• Deploy and maintain services within AWS cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong background in Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Kafka for real-time streaming.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of UNIX servers, commands, and environments.
• Experience with testing frameworks, continuous integration, and build tools.
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
