Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle, translating complex requirements into robust Java applications. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and reactive programming paradigms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RESTful services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data persistence and queries using MongoDB or Oracle databases.
• Implement reactive programming patterns for high-concurrency applications.
• Handle end-to-end SDLC activities, from requirement gathering to production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with reactive programming libraries.
• Experience writing complex queries in MongoDB or Oracle.
• Understanding of messaging solutions like Kafka (preferred but not mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (3 years of progressive experience accepted in lieu of degree).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI prompt engineering.
• Proven track record of code optimization for performance in Java and databases.
