Description

You will design, build, and optimize secure, compliant distributed systems using Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain object-oriented Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Design and build systems compliant with PCI-DSS, PII, and SOX standards.
• Build and consume RESTful services and implement messaging solutions using SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
• Profile and optimize service performance, ensuring efficient data structures and storage usage.
• Implement software security frameworks and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Core Java and object-oriented programming.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and storage mechanisms.
• Proficiency with databases: Oracle, Cassandra, Couchbase, and MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging brokers: SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with caching technologies: Redis, HazelCast, or Memcache.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and CI/CD processes (Gradle, Maven, Git).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and software security/compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering compliant, high-performance systems in a collaborative team.
