Description

Own the development and evolution of GPI payments and PREVAL services within the Engineering Cluster.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 8+ applications with a focus on RESTful API implementation using Tomcat.
• Implement secure data handling using JSON and XML formats, including cryptography requirements.
• Write and execute JUnit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
• Deploy and manage services on Linux operating systems.

Required Skills

• Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Programming using Java.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and above, including Lambda Expressions and Parallel Streams.
• Experience with RESTful API development and Tomcat.
• Strong knowledge of JSON and XML data processing.
• Experience with cryptography implementation in Java.
• Proficient in Linux operating system administration and scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 years of professional software development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
• Experience with Kafka or Kafka Streams.
