Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable Java microservices and APIs within an Agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful microservices using Spring Boot, Java 8+, and Lambda expressions.
• Develop and consume GraphQL APIs for efficient data access and cross-application integration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and MockMVC to ensure code quality.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on OpenShift and AWS (RDS, DynamoDB, SQS).

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• Proficiency in GraphQL, RESTful API design, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and OpenShift.
• Proficient in Git for version control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Experience with build automation using Maven.
• Active participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting technical spikes or PoCs.
• Background in BPM environments and performance optimization.
