You will build and scale the backend platform powering the consumer experience for brand owners and sellers.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend systems using decoupled architecture principles.
• Implement automated CI/CD, testing, and monitoring to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and User Research to scope and plan projects.
• Coordinate with product management stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Mentor engineering colleagues and contribute to a scalable engineering culture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Hibernate and JPA Repository.
• Hands-on work with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Development of REST APIs.
• Deep familiarity with the web application development process.
• Ability to write and deploy production-ready code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Scala/Spark.
