Description

You will design and develop enterprise Java applications, owning module-level design and technical decisions. You will support modernization initiatives from legacy systems to microservices and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and databases.
• Develop modular microservices components applying OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Write unit tests, perform performance tuning, and support production stability and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture discussions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL/MongoDB.
• Experience with Angular or React (working knowledge).
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven messaging.
• Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven/Gradle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Azure.
