Description

You will design, develop, and maintain microservice-based APIs and backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You will own the full development lifecycle, from coding and code review to deployment and monitoring in a cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful microservices using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and JPA.
• Design and implement distributed event streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Monitor application performance and logs using Datadog, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Enforce code quality through automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) and static analysis (SonarQube, Checkstyle).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8 and above.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and MongoDB.
• Experience with microservice architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and code review practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hibernate and advanced database optimization.
