Description

You will develop and maintain microservices-based enterprise applications using Java.

Responsibilities

• Define microservices from existing code bases.
• Execute build, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Debug API implementation issues by collaborating with QA and UI teams.
• Provide technical feedback to Scrum leads and product management.
• Participate in hand-over meetings with on-site teams during PST hours.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Core Java including Collections, Strings, Annotations, and Interfaces.
• Experience with Java 1.8+ features such as Lambda expressions, Stream APIs, and Reactive streams.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, and Struts.
• Experience with Servlet and Microservices architecture, including Service Mesh and Blue/Green deployments.
• Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like Document DB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with data caching using platforms like ElastiCache.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Version control experience using Git or SVN.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write relational queries and understand Oracle stored procedures.
• Knowledge of cloud-based design patterns.
