Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, debug, develop, and maintain customer-centric software services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Investigate complex support tickets, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and implement corrective code changes.
• Optimize components for performance and scalability while ensuring reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in R&D, proof of concepts, prototyping, and code reviews; contribute to engineering best practices.
• Support production operations, including escalations, and ensure services meet non-functional requirements (operational and security needs).

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development; 5 - 8 years total experience preferred.
• Java development with core Java, JDK, multithreading, and data structures & algorithms.
• Spring and Spring Boot for building and maintaining backend services.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for complex issues in production.
• Server and integration experience with Tomcat/WebLogic, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), and messaging (JMS MQ / Artemis MQ).

Good to Have:

• Exposure to frontend debugging (ReactJS) and .Net.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and AWS for scalable, resilient deployments.
• Experience with HRP applications, especially Claims functionality; familiarity with other HRP areas (Enrollment, Billing, Financials).
• Knowledge of ticketing and production support workflows (Jira, Salesforce) and US healthcare domain exposure.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
