Description

You will develop and maintain microservices-based enterprise applications using Java, owning the full lifecycle from code definition to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement microservices from existing code bases.
• Execute build, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Debug API implementation issues by collaborating with QA and UI teams.
• Participate in hand-over meetings with on-site teams during PST hours.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Core Java (Collections, Strings, Annotations, Interfaces) and Java 1.8+ features (Lambda, Stream APIs, Reactive streams).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, and Struts.
• Experience with Servlets and Microservices architecture, including Service Mesh and Blue/Green deployments.
• Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (Document DB, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write relational queries and understand Oracle stored procedures.
• Knowledge of cloud-based design patterns.
