Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications and microservices, integrating GCP services for compute, storage, and data processing.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Design and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications leveraging GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, App Engine, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools and manage infrastructure setup with IaC.
• Implement secure coding practices aligned with GCP security best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cloud SQL, Firestore, MongoDB).
