Description

Build and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs using Java, overseeing the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and REST APIs using Java 8+.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure code quality.
• Manage data persistence using MSSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or TeamCity and containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in technical design reviews.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and full-stack MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Demonstrable experience with microservices architecture and Kafka messaging.
• Proficiency with Git, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C# and other full-stack technologies.
• Knowledge of API security best practices.
