Description

You will build and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Develop Spring Boot applications following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean code practices.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions and microservices.
• Perform unit and integration testing to identify and resolve bugs.
• Integrate microservices with databases and streaming systems.
• Manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from development to deployment.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring Boot frameworks for microservices development.
• Experience with Kafka messaging and streaming systems.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift deployment and Jenkins pipelines.
• Proficiency with GIT for version control.
• Knowledge of design patterns and defensive coding techniques.
• Experience with SQL Server, including DDL and DML.
• Understanding of Actuator for monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible for automation.
• Working within Agile/SCRUM environments and 2-week sprints.
