Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend microservices using Spring Boot within a full SDLC framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Spring Boot applications using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean code practices.
• Own the release pipeline, ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and documentation.
• Design scalable backend solutions and integrate microservices with databases and Kafka streaming systems.
• Write unit and integration tests to identify and resolve bugs.
• Produce technical documentation for each microservice.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong expertise in writing efficient SQL queries.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
• Hands-on experience with GIT, Swagger, and Kafka MQ.
• Knowledge of design patterns including Singleton, Factory, Strategy, and Observer.
• Proficiency with JSON and YML markup languages.
• Experience deploying to WebSphere and Open Liberty servers.
• Working knowledge of PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and security tools like Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
