Description

You will develop and support web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot in a remote role based in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API-based web applications on Red Hat and implement microservices on OpenShift, GKE, and Cloud Endpoints.
• Build CRUD dataflow and business logic components while managing queue technologies including AMQ and MQTT.
• Provide application support for business logic, data layers, integrations, and services.
• Assist with deployment support, documentation, and minor design fixes in collaboration with front-end and back-end teams.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and lead issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in web application development using Java.
• Proficiency with Java 11 or above.
• Experience building applications on Red Hat.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, AMQ, or MQTT.
• Experience implementing microservices architectures.
• Experience integrating front-end and back-end services.
• Strong analytical and business logic design capabilities.
• Familiarity with web/mobile application support using the Java 11 stack.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Drools and SQL Server.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
