Description

You will modernize legacy mainframe applications by converting COBOL logic into structured Java systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean, compile, and execute unit tests on source code converted from COBOL via the PROGRESSION Tool Suite.
• Troubleshoot defects reported by client and testing groups.
• Modernize legacy mainframe logic into structured Java applications.
• Manage code within Windows or Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall experience in large, structured system development projects.
• 2+ years of experience with Java and IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle SQL, or Postgres.
• 2+ years of experience in Windows or Linux environments.
• 1+ year of experience with Spring Boot, Node.js, gRPC, or Microsoft Web API.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, RPG, or PL/1.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for batch testing.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Git.
