You will build, design, and test new applications and enhancements using Java-based technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and test new applications or existing enhancements.
• Apply SDLC concepts to deliver scalable applications and high-volume transaction systems.
• Collaborate with business owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop distributed systems using object-oriented design patterns and data modeling techniques.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, and JDBC.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience building Spring Boot services and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React interfaces.
• Experience with server-side technologies including JBOSS, MessagingMOM (JMS, MQSeries), and EJBs.
• Proficiency in database design and writing complex SQL within an Oracle environment.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of SAML for authentication.
• Background in distributed databases and data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and automated DevOps deployment.
• Knowledge of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 or ASTM.
