Description

Develop and tune high-performance trading systems within the capital markets domain.

Responsibilities

• Write, tune, and configure expert-level Java code for low-latency environments.
• Implement and manage messaging via JMS or native protocols.
• Develop distributed memory fabric and reliable multicast implementations using TCP/IP and UDP.
• Manage market data structures including aggregated, consolidated, and montage books.
• Handle offer management, tiering levels, and post-trade feed flows including settlement calculations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development, including deep expertise in coding and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Memory Fabric.
• Proficiency with JMS or native messaging protocols.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and UDP/Multicast implementation.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle or Postgres.
• Advanced Linux scripting, troubleshooting, and host tuning skills.
• Domain knowledge of Corporate Bond (HY or IG) electronic trading market structures.
• Expertise in financial calculations, including Yield to Price conversion and Spread.
• Understanding of BWIC/OWIC negotiating protocols and LP/ECN/ATS nuances.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing reliable multicast.
