You will design, develop, and test backend services and APIs while managing your own deliverables.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Prototype new technologies and evaluate vendor solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise on IAM and secure development.
• Work independently to manage end-to-end project deliverables.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in Java/J2EE.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, SpringMVC, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Expertise in IAM protocols: OAuth2, OIDC, MFA, SSO, and LDAP.
• Knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and HSM.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, and Git.
• Competency in Unix/Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Angular.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and database design/tuning.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IAM platforms such as Ping or Okta.
• Practical application of secure coding practices.
