Description

Lead design and development of Java-based microservices applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or MQ.
• Drive hands-on coding, debugging, and performance tuning for scalable systems.
• Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce clean code practices.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security in production.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or MQ (producers, consumers, streams, error handling).
• Proficiency in MongoDB for data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
