Description

You will design, build, and maintain distributed microservices in a cloud-native environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable services using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, including Streams and Connect.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments via OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Deep proficiency in Core Java (versions 8, 11, 17).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topics, brokers, partitions, streams).
• Experience with container orchestration on OpenShift and Docker.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm for orchestration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kafka Schema Registry.
