Description

Lead design and development of Java microservices applications while mentoring developers and ensuring system reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java/J2EE-based microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka/MQ.
• Write production code, debug issues, and tune application performance.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce clean code standards.
• Translate product requirements into technical designs in collaboration with architects and stakeholders.
• Ensure system scalability, security, and effective deployment monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or MQ, including producers, consumers, streams, and error handling.
• Proficient in MongoDB, including data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Solid grasp of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container orchestration and deployment pipelines.
