Description

Lead the development, delivery, and optimization of Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Mentor team members on coding standards, best practices, and technical challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards to ensure high-performance deliverables.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers for MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 6-8+ years of proven experience as a Java developer in enterprise settings.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java (version 8 or higher) and core concepts.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related libraries.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), and data management.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to lead development teams and manage complex project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
