You will own complex backend initiatives, modernizing legacy systems by migrating file-based processes to scalable database architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development for large-scale backend modernization projects.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure strict compliance with engineering policies and delivery standards.
• Optimize backend processes and data management workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in specialty software engineering or equivalent professional background.
• 6+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of event streaming and messaging, specifically Kafka and JMS.
• Solid understanding of SQL database management and optimization.
