Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while troubleshooting issues.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprints, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java as your primary programming language.
• Proficiency in at least one other language: Python, C#/.Net, MEAN, or Ruby.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in MariaDB, S3, DB2, or IMS.
• Experience developing and deploying microservices and APIs.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Broadcom Endeavor, BitBucket, GitHub, Jules, or Jenkins.
• Experience using the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align).
• Understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of z/OS Connect.
