Description

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise APIs and production infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern REST APIs using Java Spring Boot and integrate containerized services.
• Design and optimize API schemas, business logic, data access, and logging.
• Contribute to Kafka environment setup, enrichment, and data transformations.
• Design database schemas and manage migrations between RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
• Build automated build pipelines and development environments using DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies and 2-week sprints.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST, JSON, or SOAP web interfaces.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and automated testing frameworks like JUnit.
