Description

You will develop and maintain Java-based applications for data management and low-latency client-facing solutions in the banking and capital markets domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications focused on data management.
• Optimize and manage data storage using SQL and databases such as Sybase or DB2.
• Create and manage Unix scripts to automate processes and optimize workflows.
• Design, implement, and test low-latency applications compliant with Payments SWIFT message format standards.
• Troubleshoot database queries to drive performance improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development for data management applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management, specifically with DB2 or Sybase.
• Hands-on experience with Unix scripting for automation.
• Deep understanding of banking and capital markets, including Payments and SWIFT message formats.
• Experience analyzing, designing, and testing complex, low-latency client-facing applications.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills for requirement gathering and technical support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large-scale financial systems.
• Knowledge of message-oriented middleware for financial transactions.
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
