Description

Develop and maintain backend services using Java and microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain code and configuration for software projects using Eureka service architecture.
• Implement and integrate dependencies and configuration properties to ensure seamless integration with the Eureka Service Registry.
• Incorporate Eureka client functionality into services to enable service registration and discovery.
• Debug and resolve technical issues related to service registration, discovery failures, and inter-service communication.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested Java code following established standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer or in a similar backend role.
• Proficiency in Java programming language (Java 8+).
• Strong understanding of code configuration and dependency management using Maven.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud fundamentals.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA for data persistence.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with logging frameworks, specifically Log4j2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Computing and Microservices architecture.
• Agile methodology experience.
