Description

You will develop and maintain backend services within the banking and financial services sector.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using standard tooling.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Integrate Java open-source libraries and frameworks into existing systems.
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience, specifically within Banking or Financial services.
• 4+ years of Core Java development.
• 3+ years of experience with Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with SDLC tools.
• 2+ years of unit testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience using Java open-source libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Experience with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or Blackduck.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with Cloud environments including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, GCP, or MS Azure.
