Description

Design, develop, and debug backend services using Java and Kotlin within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Ktor.
• Develop and maintain secure APIs using Spring Security and OAuth 2.0.
• Manage cloud-native deployments using Azure App Functions, web jobs, and API Management gateways.
• Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and data modeling.
• Write technical documentation and engage directly with clients to meet requirements.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT industry experience with 3+ years focused on Java/J2EE and Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and Spring JPA.
• Experience building microservices and working with Messaging Queues (JMS).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including App Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Strong testing skills using JUnit, KoTest, TestNG, or mocking frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, and Object-Oriented design concepts.
• Practical knowledge of Git, Postgres DB, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience in client-facing roles requiring strong technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular (version 9 or 11).
• Working knowledge of SAFe methodology.
