Description

Design, develop, and support cloud-native platforms, APIs, and services on the Cloud Platform team.

Responsibilities

• Develop SpringBoot and Java API services on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Implement software using Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD workflows.
• Refactor APIs and services to improve simplification and efficiency.
• Execute API Load and Performance testing on developed modules.
• Collaborate with product managers to break down requirements into production-ready user stories within an agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in developing SpringBoot/Java API services.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Fossa, and GitHub.
• Knowledge of JSON, REST, GraphQL, Swagger, and Postman.
• Experience working in agile environments using sprint and user story methodologies.
• Competency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
• Write Clean Code and utilize tools like SonarQube to maintain quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Angular, UI/UX, or API developer portal experience.
• Deep knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and performance issues.
