Description

Build and maintain Java-based systems and RESTful APIs in Nottingham.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based systems meeting business requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs following established architectural principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve critical bugs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to SOLID principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of SOLID principles and SOA.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Experience working with AWS cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading teams using Pair Programming, TDD, and BDD.

Education

• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).
