Description

You will lead the modernization and migration of legacy Struts 1 applications to Java 21 and Spring 6.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Struts 1 applications to Java 21 and Spring 6 stacks.
• Develop and maintain backend REST APIs using modern Java and Spring frameworks.
• Ensure migrated applications maintain functionality while improving performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with scale and security teams to address code complexity and performance challenges.
• Apply AWS services to support the modernized application architecture.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Struts 1 MVC is required.
• Expertise in backend REST API development using Java 21 and Spring 6.
• Demonstrable experience with application migration and modernization from Struts to Spring 6.
• Proficiency utilizing AWS services and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working within Agile team environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 15+ years of experience.
