Description

You will develop and maintain high-performance Java/Spring Boot microservices within an AWS EKS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS.
• Manage complex data mapping and persistence against Oracle databases using MyBatis.
• Implement data pipelines and inter-service communication using Kafka for financial data streams.
• Develop and optimize automated batch processing jobs using Autosys integrated with PL/SQL.
• Own the code lifecycle, managing CI/CD deployment and monitoring production health via DataDog.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases and expert-level PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Proven track record with ATDD and testing frameworks (Groovy/Spock).
• Experience deploying and managing containers using Docker and AWS EKS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB and S3.
• Experience with Wiremock for API simulation.
